Anode carbon block refers to the carbon block produced with petroleum coke and asphalt coke as aggregate ,coal asphalt as binder. It is used as anode material for prebaked aluminum electrolytic cell. This kind of carbon block has been roasted and has stable geometry, so it is also called prebaked anode carbon block and carbon anode for aluminum electrolysis.The production process mainly includes the selection of raw materials, mixing, forming, calcination and cooling.

According to different product types, anode carbon blocks are mainly divided into bottom carbon blocks and side carbon blocks. Mainly used in electrochemical industry and laboratory.
